This video talks about the wireframing process followed by Deventure. It initially starts with a client discovery call where the client has chosen Deventure to build their new app that they can't wait to share with the world. The next step is to take their idea and turn into a product. After the initial online call we give the client an online form to fill and this is the moment where our wireframing process begins.
The video then goes on to talk about what are wireframes. Wireframes are a low or high fidelity rendering of a user interface. It begins by establishing the project's main functionality, key features and content structure. We then go on to identify the users motivation to interact with the clients product and understand what value it needs to bring to them. Our team at Deventure then formulates these in the form of user stories.
The video then describes how our designers will do product research to find similar apps like the one the client wants to build by analysing competitors. Then is followed by creating a moodboard to find the design style we want to pursue. We then go on to create the user flow which is the path the user will take while using an app. The number of paths depends on the user roles and the complexity of the software.
The video goes on to describe how we go on to create a sitemap reflecting the structure of the wireframes that will be the basis of the product prototype. After the information is gathered we host a feedback session with the client.
This video then talks how the development team at Deventure puts together the wireframes and the project and turns it into something more tangible. The wireframing process comes to an end after the client agrees on the blueprint of their app, the budget is clear and we are able to narrow in on the required resources to implement the project.
This is an explainer video of Deventures wireframing process, what wireframes are and why you need this important step to be done right.
