MOBILE DEVELOPER

General Summary

We are looking for a mobile developer skilled in the development & maintenance of Android & iOS apps. The successful candidate will be a junior or middle developer with experience in coding and delivering small and medium mobile applications. If you are passionate about mobile platforms and translating code into easy-to-use applications, we would love to meet you.

As a mobile developer, you will work with internal teams to develop functional mobile applications while working in a fast-paced environment. Working in a small agile development team, we will pay close attention to the development of your career and together with Deventure we will continue to reimagine and reinvent products.

Skills and Qualification required:

- Enthusiasm for learning new and emergent technologies

- Problem solver and proactive personality

- Creative/ innovative: suggest system improvements and offers alternative solutions to the different problems that may appear

- Easily adaptable to change and disciplined

- Proven work experience as a Mobile developer

- Exposure to C# or comparable language stack such as Java, Swift, Objective-C etc

- Familiarity with OOP design principles

- Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude

- Good understanding of mobile applications life cycle

- Understanding and using Source control systems

- Quick learner and hardworking

- Be a team player

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)

- Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code

- Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions

- Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance

- Design interfaces to improve user experience

- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends

- Comfortable working with Agile development methodologies

Nice to have:

- Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market

- BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field

- Experience with RESTful services

- Experience with Xamarin

- Proficient in English
